How to Download Videos from X
X is the current name of the service previously known as Twitter. Both x.com and twitter.com status links can point to the same public post, and isavex accepts either form.
Find the status link
Open the individual post instead of the profile timeline. The URL should contain /status/ followed by a long number. That number identifies the post and is the most important part of the link.
Use the Share control when possible. It avoids accidentally copying a profile URL, search page, photo-only page, or shortened link that does not resolve cleanly.
Use the web downloader
Paste the status URL into isavex, start the request, and wait for available video qualities. Select an MP4 option, then let your browser handle the file.
The downloader runs on the web, so there is no desktop program, phone app, or browser extension to install. Your browser may open the video in a new tab; use its download menu if the file does not save automatically.
Know the public-content boundary
A public-link downloader cannot enter private profiles, direct messages, paid areas, or posts that require your account session. If the source is restricted, request the file directly from its owner instead.
Save videos for legitimate uses such as your own archive, permitted research, or content for which the creator granted reuse rights. Do not treat public visibility as a transfer of copyright.
Frequently asked questions
Are X links and Twitter links both supported?
Yes. Public status links on x.com and twitter.com use the same underlying post identifier.
Why does the video open in a new tab?
Some browsers preview MP4 files instead of immediately saving them. Use the browser video menu or download control to save the file.
Paste the post link and review the MP4 qualities available from the source.
